Off to Isreal (Kinda)

Well we awoke ready for out trip at 4:30 am Wednesday took off for the airport and our first flight was really fantastic (normal anyway).  We had a 2.5 hour layover in MN that turned into 6 which then ate up ALL our layover time in NYC (JFK airport).   Well to make a long story shorter we arrived in NY in the middle of a huge snowstorm.  We were 10 minutes lake for our connection to Israel and of course they did not hold the plane for 5 of us who were heading to Israel.   We were really "Lucky" though and were transferred to El Al airlines pronounced "LL with a yidish slur".   For the next hour we were in amazing race getting shuttled having bad tickets and going back to Delta to LL to Delta to LL.  FINALLY we got on the LL plane with 15 minutes to spare but nobody has any idea where our luggage is (oh well, I don't sweat much anyway!!).
It is now midnight NY time and we are happy campers (see the pic above, right!!).    We then sat on the plane for 3 hours with a bunch of very nicely dressed Israelies until they closed the airport.  They even served us some kind of Kosher sandwich which I cannot find words to describes for dinner.   Oh Well!!

New Blog

The start to a new blog and a new adventure!  I trying to become selfless and decided that I could, possibly, maybe, add my wife in on the blog thus changing the name to "keepinupwiththeedwards."
So as we embark on new, exciting, grandiose things in our life, we will post about them. (in between that once a year event I will continue to lift your spirits with fascinating facts about why I am awesome, just so you don't miss the old action)

SNOW and more SNOW

Okay so my kids say I never keep up on my blog. I think once a year is plenty, don't you?
Well it started snowing Wednesday and hasn't stopped. 16" and counting. It is suppose to snow through Sunday so we will see what we end up with.
So bottom line is my day is plow, snowblower, shovel, plow, snowblower, shovel two to three times a day.
As Linda says it sure is beautiful. It's all perspective I guess because it sure does look beautiful from the inside looking out. It's a little different on the other end of a snow shovel !!
At least I do it with Style:)

Halloween

Which one is the ugliest stepsister? Or, which one is Dave?
